The Universiade Park, located on the waterfront of the Kazanka River in the square by the Farmer's Palace, is the heart of the cultural programme of the Games.
Everyone will have here an opportunity to try Tatar cuisine, take part in master classes in applied art and enjoy the performances of folklore ensembles of Tatarstan. Apart from that, there will be exhibitions of the Games partners, the Houses of the friendly Universiades and candidate host cities, a video presentation stand 'Sochi 2014', a FIFA 2018 pavilion and, of course, performance stages.
During the evening programme, which starts at 18:00, on different days there will be performances by Murakami (rock group), Egor Sesarev and TRUE JAZZBAND, JukeBox Trio, Aida Garifullina, Elmira Kalimullina as well as volunteer artists from Russia's regions.
The world-famous Cirque de Soleil has prepared a special street show which is going to be the jewel of the park's cultural programme.
Opening hours and admission
The park is open to visitors every day. From 12:00 to 16:00 admission is free, after 16:00 – on presentation of an admission ticket to a Universiade competition on that day or on presentation of an accreditation card for the 27th Summer Universiade 2013 in Kazan. Depending on how full the park is, the admission of visitors to the park may be temporarily stopped. Both the face control and dress code are observed.
A visitor parking area is in operation near the Kazan National Cultural Centre.

Bright, rich, enchanting - these are characteristics of the project Cultural Universiade which ends today. Performances, concerts, street shows, and exhibitions - all these activities of the Cultural Universiade took place from 4 to 18 of July in all cultural institutions of the capital of Tatarstan. These days theatres and museums operated according to a special schedule and presented their most vivid creations to residents and guests of Kazan.
