On Tuesday, the women’s Russia water polo national team won gold medals beating the team of Hungary in the final event with a score 18:11.

"We prepare now for the world championship that is why we developed our technique and almost the whole match was tight. Then we tried defence techniques we are developing for Barcelona. But our team failed to do it. We have to help each other more. We lost a lot from the central zone. There were lots of penalty kicks and sending of the field. That is why our defence should be improved," says Belyaeva to R-Sport. Water polo player adds that she is glad of her play in the Universiade except from the final event. "I do not want to talk about today’s game because I am not glad of it. Some certain goals were not scored. In general, my play was decent. There were lots of passes and goals, around twenty. My game, basically, was good," stated the Russian player.
