Boxer Abdurashidov said Universiade victory is the biggest success in his career

This gold medal of the Summer Universiade 2013 is the biggest success in my athletic career, said the winner of the boxing tournament (up to 60 kg weight category), Russian Adlan Abdurashidov.

Abdurashidov in the final match defeated Gaibnazarov Fazliddin from Uzbekistan. Boxers in the competition in Kazan fought for 10 medl events.

“For me, this is the first competition of such a high level, and each fight was difficult for me, especially in psychological terms,” Abdurashidov told the correspondent from R-Sport. “And I think that if I were to meet with my opponent in the finals again, I'd be even stronger. The victory in Kazan, for me, is by far the greatest success in my career. I believe that the Universiade is the second largest major tournament this year – after the World Cup.”
