Boxing. Results of tournament

On July 10, at the 27th World University Summer Games, a boxing tournament was held at the Centre of Boxing and Table Tennis. Ten sets of awards were vied for by 168 athletes from 33 countries.

The winner of the gold in the 49-kg weight class was Hasanboi Dusmatov (Uzbekistan), the winner of the silver was Ink Kim from South Korea, and bronze medals were won by Gan-Erdene Gankhuyag (Mongolia) and Yerzhan Zhormat (Kazakhstan).

In the 52-kg weight class, the Universiade gold medal was won by Yenkhdelger Kharkh from Mongolia and the silver by the Russian Misha Aloyan, and bronze were won by Zhasurbek Latipov (Uzbekistan) and Alexander Ryshkan.

In the 56-kg weight class, Russia's Sergei Vodopyanov had no equals, beating Kazakhstan's Rustam Rustamov in the final, Bronzes were won by Iderkhu Yenkrgal from Mongolia and Henrik Mokoyan (Armenia).

Adlan Abdurashidov (Russia) won a gold in the 60-kg weight class. Fazliddin Gaibnazarov from Uzbekistan won a silver, and bronze medals were obtained by the South Korean boxer Sandjim Lee and Otgandalai Dorinyamb (Mongolia).

The gold in the 64-kg weight class was won by Radzhab Butaev (Russia) and the silver by Artur Kirayan (Armenia), and bronzes were won by the Moldovan Dmitry Gala and Ukrainian Denis Berinchik.

In the 69-kg weight class, Andrei Zamkovoi (Russia) won a gold medal, a silver was won by Hirshidbek Normatov (Uzbekistan), and the bronze prize-winners of the Games were Tuvshinbad Byamba (Mongolia) and Onur Sipal (Turkey).

Dmitry Mitrofanov (Ukraine) won the gold medal in the 75-kg weight class, and the silver was won by Azizbek Abdugofurov from Uzbekistan. Bronze medals were won by Shinedayar Narmandakh (Mongolia) and Nurdaulet Zharmonov (Kazakhstan).

In the 81-kg weight class, Alexander Gvozdyuk (Ukraine) was the victor, second place was taken by the Russian Dmitry Bivol, and bronze medals were won by the Uzbek Elshod Rasulov and Belarusian Mikhail Daukhalivaets.

Evgeny Tishchenko (Russia) was the gold-medal-winner in the 91-kg weight class, Rustam Tulganov (Uzbekistan) received the silver, and bronze medals were won by Dulan Bregeon (France) and Tadas Tamasukis (Lithuania).

In the group of boxers over 91 kg, Magomed Omarov (Russia) won the gold and Zhan Kosobutsky from Kazakhstan won the silver. Bronze medals were received by Mirzokhidzhon Abdulaev (Uzbekistan) and Yan Sudzilovsky.

The top-10 in terms of medals received were the teams of Russia, Uzbekistan, Mongolia, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Armenia, Belarus, South Korea, Moldova, Lithuania, France, and Turkey.
