Over the years the World University Games have been major university competitions notable for their peculiar atmosphere and heat of the struggle and played in the true spirit of sportsmanship and fair play. The Games’ success is possible only through close cooperation between the Kazan 2013 organisers and their partners. The League of Partners was founded in November 2010 to ensure a multilateral partnership between business circles and Kazan 2013 Organising Committee. The league includes the companies that signed partnership agreements with the Executive Committee of the 27th World University Summer Games.
The main mission of the League of Partners is not simply to tie commercial corporations up by the partnership contract with the Kazan 2013 Executive Committee but also consolidate their efforts under the ideological umbrella of the Universiade. To achieve that, the partner companies will be implementing joint projects aimed at further developing specialised industries that will be part of the Kazan 2013 Legacy.
On the day of its founding the League of Kazan 2013 Partners united such companies as MegaFon (General Partner, Official Communications Services Partner for Kazan 2013), AK BARS Bank (General Partner, Official Banking Services Provider for Kazan 2013) and PricewaterhouseCoopers (Partner, Official Professional Services Provider for Kazan 2013). For the purpose of promoting the 27th World University Summer Games, tremendous efforts have been made to attract licensee companies ready to procure goods bearing the logo of the 2013 Summer Universiade. A pool of 30 companies has already been formed. The range of licensed products includes over 1,000 items.
Production and distribution of products carrying the Kazan 2013 logo gives Russians, foreign visitors and citizens of Kazan the opportunity to own an exclusive part of modern sporting history.
