FISU Gala Awarding Ceremony

The FISU Gala Awarding Ceremony is a project held under the FISU five stars and aimed at recognising best public representatives who made a significant contribution to the worldwide development of university sports, promotion of the ideals of sports and humanism.

Kazan, where the 2013 Summer Universiade will open in less than a year from now, was deeply honoured to play host to such a significant and unique event, the first one in the history of university sports.

Representatives of over 150 countries of the world, Russian and international sports stars, public and political figures of Russia and foreign countries attended the FISU Gala Awarding Ceremony.
