Purchasing tickets

Ticket for all sporting events of the 27th Summer Universiade 2013 can be purchased in ticket offices of the city, on the website of the Official Ticket Operator, Kassir.ru, as well as in e-government terminals set up at the following locations.

A ticket to a sporting event of the 2013 Summer Universiade grants its holder a host of additional benefits on the day of the event:

The obligatory condition for getting admission to the Universiade Park is the attendance of a sporting event, which is evidenced by a special mark on the ticket.

  • Free travel on all public transport.
  • Free admission to the Universiade Park, where everyone can embrace the rich cultural diversity of the peoples of Russia and view a truly breath-taking outdoor show of Canada's world-famous Cirque du Soleil.

Transporting spectators to Opening and Closing Ceremonies

Free buses will start carrying spectators to the Summer Universiade Opening Ceremony on July 6 at 17:00 from Derbyshki Township (Lipatova Street), Yudino Township and Zilploshchadka (Khimicheskaya Street). The buses will run at 15-minute interval.

The main departure point for spectators travelling to the Summer Universiade Opening Ceremony will be the Kozya Sloboda station, from where shuttle buses will depart to the Kazan Arena Stadium at scheduledintervals of 10 minutes.

The public transport stop nearest to the stadium is the Gavrilova stop; it can be reached by buses No 7, 18, 33, 35, 35а, 36, 44, 45, 46, 55, 60, 62, 76, 10, 10а; trolleybuses No 2, 13, and tramways No 5, 6.

Spectators travelling home after the Opening Ceremony can take buses that will carry them back to the townships of Yudino and Derbyshki and Zhilploshchadka, as well as to the Kozya Sloboda station. Plus, they can take taxi from the Sfera Business Centre (1 Garvilova Street).

For spectators’ convenience, a special Transport Plan for the Opening and Closing Ceremonies of the 2013 Summer Universiade, where delivery routes and public transport stops are marked and four major transportation routes are in marked in different colours.

Those willing to get to the Summer Universiade Opening and Closing Ceremonies by taxi, can order the accredited taxi services can be ordered by dialing the following phone numbers:

Please note that it can take some time to get to the Kazan Arena Stadium. We strongly advise you to plan your trip in advance. Also keep in mind that there will be strict security checks at the stadium. According to the safety and security regulations at the Kazan Arena Stadium, spectators are not allowed to bring any sharp metal items and razor-type blades (including stick umbrellas), as well as drinks in glass and metal bottles, laser devices.
